Easy Read Online Limited launched a website called Dobson’s Choice which enables people with intellectual disabilities and reading difficulties to browse information online. More than 1000 websites could be retrieved at Dobson’s Choice, providing people with accessible, interesting and relevant information.

Easy Read Online Limited launched a website called Dobson’s Choice which enables people with intellectual disabilities and reading difficulties to browse information online.  More than 1000 websites could be retrieved at Dobson’s Choice, providing people with accessible, interesting and relevant information.

A homepage offers ten most popular categories to browse, such as news, services, entertainment and others.  Before entering each section, an animated character called ‘Dobson’ explains which section a user is about to enter, making sure that people can find the information they wanted to.

Under each category, you can a viewer can look over subcategories which offer UK and also local news. Interest section includes accessible websites about history, science or hobbies. In entertainment section, the website guides you also to other media- television and radio. Moreover, each section is illustrated with photos or pictures, enabling to understand the content of each section faster.
