Inclusion Europe awarded with the European Citizen’s Prize medal

Inclusion Europe received an award from the European Parliament for the “My Talents. For Diversity” project. The European Citizen’s Prize recognises initiatives that contribute to European cooperation and the promotion of common values. The project was funded by European Commission – under the “Rights, Equality and Citizenship” programme and the partners were Plena Inclusión, EVPIT, Antwerp Management School.

After receiving the European Citizen’s Prize for our work on inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities for the project “My Talents. For Diversity”, we were honoured with the medal of the Liaison Office of Belgium to the European Parliament. The Liaison Office of Belgium selected our project out of 28 candidates and nominated it to the Chancellery to be chosen out of 300 candidates from Europe. The medal was handed over by Benoît Lutgen, member of the European People’s Party of the European Parliament.
