Bryndís Snæbjörnsdóttir from Iceland 

is the new vice-president of Inclusion Europe. 

She took the place of Gerhard Kowalski 

who is still part of our board. 

Bryndís has been working 

for a long time 

for the rights of people with disabilities in Iceland. 

She is the chair of the organisation Throskahjalp 

since 2013. 

Throskahjalp is the member organisation of Inclusion Europe 

in Iceland. 

Before that, she has been working in other organisations 

for the rights of people with disabilities. 

Bryndís is the mother of two daughters with disabilities. 

She has always been fighting for the rights of her daughters 

and of all people with disabilities. 

  

Inclusion Europe is happy to have Bryndís  

as new vice-president. 

We are looking forward to working with her. 

Our work brings the voice of people with intellectual disabilities and their families where decisions about their future are made.

This has always been incredibly important. It is even more so with the Covid pandemic drastic impact on their rights and lives.
