Our director Milan Šveřepa: "I spent 2 days in Croatia last week learning about the situation of children and of adults with intellectual disabilities being segregated in institutions."

People with disabilities still have to fight for their right to be an active part of society. The story of their struggle is empathetically portrayed in the documentary New Day.

On 24 February 2014, Udruga za Samozastupanje - the Croatian Association for Self Advocacy, GONG and Disability Ombudsman Office organized a roundtable meeting in the Croatian Parliament within the framework of an EU-funded project Human Rights Advocacy through Learning by Doing.
