A message from Inclusion Europe President about Brexit

etr On 23 June 2016 Britain had an important vote to decide
if they want to stay in the European Union or not.We were surprised that they decided to leave the European Union.Inclusion Europe defends the rights of persons
with intellectual disabilities across Europe,
so we have to think about what this means
for the future work of our organisation.

We believe strongly in working together,
the result has not changed this.

The European Disability Forum is also planning to continue working
with both their European and British members.

We will try hard to make sure Britian leaving the European Union
does not undo or slow down any of the good work
we do for persons with intellectual disabilities.

Our work brings the voice of people with intellectual disabilities and their families where decisions about their future are made.

This has always been incredibly important. It is even more so with the Covid pandemic drastic impact on their rights and lives.

Being visible and vocal on issues directly affecting millions of people requires your support.

Become Inclusion Europe supporter and help us keep doing our work.
