Inclusion Europe, the European Association of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities and their families, represents the voice of more than seven million people with intellectual disabilities, their families and carers. Our members include organisations of people with intellectual disabilities and their families at national, regional and local level.
While the European Commission is busy developing and preparing for the imminent release of the draft European Accessibility Act and the Non-Discrimination Directive, the institution is breaking the very rules it is working so hard to see adopted and implemented.
Organisations of persons with intellectual disabilities from across Europe call on public authorities, information and education providers as well as the general public to recognise the right of persons with intellectual disabilities to information and lifelong learning.
