Call for applications – Inclusion Europe Executive Director

 

Inclusion Europe seeks an Executive Director to help “make this the last generation of Europeans with intellectual disabilities to face exclusion and discrimination.”

Building on Inclusion Europe’s excellent reputation and growing strength as the advocacy platform for persons with intellectual disabilities, their families and organisations, you will ensure we deliver excellent programmes and projects, seek the best advocacy, funding and partnership opportunities and work collaboratively with Inclusion’s team and its network to further the rights and inclusion of people with intellectual disability and their families.

You will have had a minimum of five years paid employment including at least two years in a leadership role where you will have demonstrated your inspirational qualities and produced impressive results. In your career you will have worked with or in complex organisations or a government body, gaining the cultural, communication and influencing skills to succeed in an international advocacy organization.

The secretariat is in Brussels, where the Executive Director will be based, although you must be prepared to travel extensively. You must have the right to work in Belgium, be highly proficient in English and be able to communicate effectively in French. Gross annual salary is in the range of €50.000 to €60.000, commensurate with skills and experience.
