Olena Kravchenko is

president of VGO Coalition.

VGO Coalition is an organisation of

all Ukrainian NGOs for people with

intellectual disabilities.

The NGOs provide day-care

 services for people with disabilities.

Because of the war in Ukraine,

the government does not give

money to NGOs anymore.

People do not live correctly in cities occupied by Russia

Flag of Ukraine

Russia occupied a city in

Ukraine called Mariupol.

People in Mariupol do not have enough

food, water, medicines and electricity.

The NGO called Believe in yourself

was in contact with 210 families

of people with intellectual disabilities.

Now, Believe in yourself is in

contact with only 45 families of

people with intellectual disabilities.

Believe in yourself does not

know about the other families

of people with intellectual disabilities.

Almost all the buildings have

been destroyed by the war.

It is important in other cities that services can continue

Flag of Ukraine

Ukraine is a big country

and other cities are not

occupied by Russia.

VGO Coalition continues to provide

services for people with

intellectual disabilities.
