Inclusion Europe, the European Association of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities and their families, represents the voice of more than seven million people with intellectual disabilities, their families and carers. Our members include organisations of people with intellectual disabilities and their families at national, regional and local level.

Debating Europe, the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the European Union of the Deaf (EUD) have launched a series of online debates focusing on issues concerning disability, discrimination and accessibility in the European Union (EU). The initiative wants to raise awareness of the many problems Europeans with disabilities are facing daily.
Obtaining equal access to information and culture is an important goal for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Moreover, the importance of making reading accessible to all is paramount in fighting barriers to accessibility and in the complete and unhindered inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
