On 21 - 22 May 2015, Inclusion Europe and ANFFAS are organizing the Europe in Action conference, which will take place in Rome, Italy’s exciting capital city.

A European Work Forum on the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD) in European Union (EU) member states will take place on 22-23 October in Brussels.

Finding friends and partners is important for everyone’s wellbeing. However, people with an intellectual disability often face difficulties when establishing such relationships. Their families, on the other hand, might have hopes but also fears when it comes to this issue.

Inclusion Europe and Anffas welcomed more than 350 participants to the Europe in Action Conference, a yearly event that has become a tradition for many people with intellectual disabilities, their families, carers and representative organisations.

In light of the 2014 European Parliament elections, FEAPS is re-launching the ‘My vote counts campaign’ (‘Mi voto cuenta’, in Spanish), previously run during Spanish national and local elections. The campaign raises awareness on the right to vote of persons with intellectual disabilities, which is supported by Art.29 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
