Funka is a company that works on accessibility. They did an interview with Maureen Piggot. Funka asked Maureen some questions about accessibility and technology.

The EEG has worked together with “Hope and homes for children” to make sure that people who live in institutions can move from institutions to the community.

Inclusion Europe organised a training in Brussels between 4 and 6 December 2019. The training was about the rights of women with intellectual disabilities.

The “National Platform of Self Advocates” is a self-advocacy organisation from Ireland. This organisation is closing because they didn’t receive any money from the government.

Inclusion Europe was at the European Day of Persons with Disabilities 2019. Many self-advocates and people working on disability rights had the chance to speak at the event

Two organisations that are members of Inclusion Europe  did a great job with a project  for young people with intellectual disabilities.  

Inclusion Europe organised an event at the European Parliament together with 5 other NGOs. People from different organisations and some MEPs took part in the event.

Bryndís Snæbjörnsdóttir from Iceland is the new vice-president of Inclusion Europe.
