Inclusion Europe meets with Nicolas Schmit, Commissioner-Designate for Jobs and Social Rights

How can more people with intellectual disabilities get jobs with fair pay in the primary labour market? Which support do family members need so caring responsibilities do not prevent them from working? And how can the European funds support inclusion? These were some of the questions that Inclusion Europe representatives discussed with Nicolas Schmit, Commissioner-Designate for Jobs and Social Rights, at a meeting in the European Parliament. Specifically, the topics of work-life balance, the European Disability Strategy and deinstitutionalisation were raised. Inclusion Europe would like to thank Nicolas Schmit for his time and looks forward to a fruitful collaboration.
