International Congress on Families and Disability in Barcelona

On 15-16 May 2014 Inclusion Europe’s member associations Dincat and FEAPS together with University Ramon Llull organise the 2nd International Congress on Families and Disability in Barcelona. The event entitled “The families in the centre” will focus on improving the quality of life of families with children with intellectual disabilities.

The meeting will be on 15-16 May in Barcelona.

Persons with intellectual disabilities, their families
and professionals will come to the meeting.

They will talk about helping make the lives
of families with people with intellectual disabilities better.

On 15-16 May 2014 Inclusion Europe’s member associations Dincat and FEAPS together with University Ramon Llull organise the 2nd International Congress on Families and Disability in Barcelona. The event entitled “The families in the centre” will focus on improving the quality of life of families with children with intellectual disabilities.

The objective of the congress is to present the current situation of families with members who have an intellectual disability in different countries. On this basis, the participants will look for  ways to support exchange of experiences among families and collaboration with professionals in order to improve their living standards. The programme and registration for the congress will be available in January or February 2014.
