Nous Aussi is a French organisation

for people with intellectual disabilities

and a member of Inclusion Europe.

Last year,

Nous Aussi talked about the right to vote.

This year,

Nous Aussi is starting two projects

on the right to vote.

One project is a videogame.

A videogame is a game that you can play

on a computer or a smartphone.

The videogame was created

by people with intellectual disabilities

together with another French organisation.

The videogame shows how voting works.

When you play,

you can see what you have to do to vote.

For example: you can see how to register to vote

and what you have to do when you go in the voting booth.

You can download the game here.

The other project that Nous Aussi is starting

is an easy-to-read guide called “Voting for all”.

The guide shows you how voting works.

The guide is in French

and it was made by people with intellectual disabilities.

The guide is divided in chapters.

Every chapter is on a different topic.

For example:

– what the right to vote is

– how to choose who to vote for.

Our work brings the voice of people with intellectual disabilities and their families where decisions about their future are made.

This has always been incredibly important. It is even more so with the Covid pandemic drastic impact on their rights and lives.

Being visible and vocal on issues directly affecting millions of people requires your support.

Become Inclusion Europe supporter and help us keep doing our work.
