Hereâs what Jyrki said about the conference.
On 19 January, 8 men with intellectual disabilities were killed by a fire in a âcare homeâ in Vejprty, Czechia. Another 30 people were injured. Messages of solidarity and concern about the situation of institutions in Europe came from all over the world.
Nous Aussi is a French organisation

Nous Aussi is starting two projects
on the right to vote.
Last January a fire killed
8 men with intellectual disabilities.
They were in an institution in Vejprty.
Vejprty is a town in Czechia.
30 other people were injured because of the fire.
570 pupils, almost half of them with special educational needs, learn together at the "Protestant school complex âMartinschuleâ" in Greifswald (Germany). We spoke to Benjamin Skladny, headmaster of the Martinschule since its beginnings.
