Carmen regained her right to vote in 2015, following lengthy legal procedures. Now she tells others about the electoral process and encourages them to go to vote.
Through its Read it Easy project, run in collaboration with software developer ONECLICK, FEAPS has finished adapting two popular Spanish novels into easy to read. The two books chosen, "Legends" by Gustavo Adolfo Becquer and "Voices of the Future” by Spanish National Award for Children’s Literature laureate Jordi Serra i Fabra, have been digitally enriched for a more accessible and enjoyable experience.
The World Congress of Inclusion International provides a unique social platform for people with intellectual disabilities, their families, service providers and decision-makers to exchange knowledge and experience on disability issues and to pave the way for improving the daily lives of people with intellectual disabilities.
The world is not designed for people with intellectual disabilities. We already knew it, but we thought putting together several absurd situations that happened during quarantine would prove this even more.
