The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has urged member states to “immediately start to transition to the abolition of coercive practices in mental health settings”.

Inclusion Europe agrees with the Council of Europe that we need to protect the human rights of people with intellectual disabilities. But we don't agree with the new changes to the Oviedo Convention.
